PRESS: Matviyenko says Russia, Belarus to settle roaming issue soon
MOSCOW, Sep 28 (PRIME) -- Russia and Belarus will settle the matter of zero roaming between the countries by the end of 2020, Valentina Matviyenko, chairwoman of Russia’s Federation Council, the parliament’s upper house, said in an interview to daily Rossiyskaya Gazeta published on Monday.
“There is every ground to assume that the matter will be settled by the end of this year,” Matviyenko said.
She said that the relevant ministries are actively developing a roadmap to cancel roaming.
Russia and Belarus, which make up the Union State, have been working on the matter since 2017.
